About Unbounded Font
Introducing Unbounded font, a revolutionary and pioneering sans-serif typeface that is both open-source and on-chain funded, making it the first of its kind in the world. Its name, “Unbounded,” is fitting for its expansive and limitless nature, as it is available in six different display weights that range from light to black, as well as a single variable font. The typeface boasts distinctive forms and unconventional details that are as disruptive as the decentralized and blockchain-based movement that inspired them.
Unbounded not only supports Latin script but also Cyrillic script, with over 1300 individual glyphs, including a collection of symbols and a unique figure-building system. This expansive collection of glyphs is able to accommodate hundreds of languages worldwide, with particular emphasis placed on African languages that have historically been overlooked.
This innovative and forward-thinking font is the result of a collaborative effort between Studio Koto, NaN, Parity Technologies, and Web3 Foundation, all of whom have joined forces to bring this project to fruition in support of the Polkadot Network.
