Mouldy Cheese is a playful, rounded display font designed by Niskala Huruf (credited also to Ali Hamidi) and released April 12, 2023. Its name and letterforms pay playful homage to the organic irregularities of aged cheese rind, think subtle crusty edges and soft, bloomy contours that lend instant character to headlines and packaging alike.
Design & Features
Mouldy Cheese font features a hand-drawn aesthetic characterized by chunky strokes and low contrast. The design features smooth curves and thick stems, contributing to its playful and childlike aesthetic. The font is provided in a single weight (Regular) and does not include italic or bold variants. It is available in TrueType format (.ttf) and has a glyph count of approximately 228–234.
