Crozier Black CF Font is a free serif typeface by Chuck’s Fonts. It is a revival of 19th-century wooden calligraphy found at “Hauptprobe in gedrängter Form der bauerschen Giesserei Frankfurt am Main.” (This is, the Bavarian Foundry Condensed Specimens Book, Frankfurt am Main).
A copyright date is not specified, but this foundry was established in 1837 according to the title page. I chose to keep the unusual shape of some glyphs (eg, lowercase g) to match the aesthetics of the 19th century. Crozier Black CF Font contains a single style with more than 333 glyphs and supports multiple languages. It will be very useful for vintage and modern designs as well as labels, addresses, greeting cards and work that needs a woodsy or American western look.
