Who is Bad Bunny?
Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, better known by his stage name Bad Bunny, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in Puerto Rico. Benito wanted to become a singer since the age of five. He took courses in Musical Communication at the University of Puerto Rico.
When he worked in a store as a packing worker in the warehouse, Martinez also contributed music as an independent artist. His song “Diles”, on SoundCloud, caught the attention of DJ Luian, who later signed his name to his label. After that, Martinez was able to work with the most famous Latin American artists. Since then, it has made several Top 10 Hot Latin Songs charts.
The Bad Bunny is basically a trap artist. As described in the article by The Rolling Stones, Bad Bunny sings and raps in a “conversational tone” using “deep, full, sticky melodies and rapper rhythms”. In an interview with Billboard, Bad Bunny stated that his greatest impression of the music is due to Héctor Lavoe, Vico C, Daddy Yankee, and Marc Anthony.
